Low-profile clamps made by OK-VISE were originally designed to meet the specific mounting needs in the production of flowmeters in the parent company Kytölä Instruments. The developed method of mounting aroused a lot of interest from other companies. This was due to the advantages which are characterized the OK-VISE clamps, i.e. high efficiency operation, the possibility of processing workpiece in three axes and a very high value of clamping force.

OK-VISE low-profile clamps function on the principle that when tightened down they expand, simultaneously pressing the workpieces against the guide and preventing any possibility of movement. These clamps are designed to fit between the workpieces and take very little space on the fastening base. Small in size, yet possessing an excellent clamping force up to 150 kN, these clamps guarantee a holding capacity which clearly exceeds the load imposed by machining forces. Our low-profile clamps can be used on single machines just as successfully as in large Flexible Manufacturing Systems. No additional investments other than fixed stoppers are required.

The company OK-VISE, which we represent in Poland, offers a wide range of clamps with the jaws of various types: plain, serrated, machinable and self-adjusting. For companies, for which it is important to reduce machine downtime, solutions are available with columns for rotary tables and tooling blocks for horizontal machining centers. We invite you to familiarize yourself with the manufacturer’s offer.
